Early Life & Martial Arts Training
Born: November 22, 1979, in Malmö, Sweden, to a Swedish mother and a father from Hong Kong.
Began martial arts at age 6 (including judo and jujitsu), and added Vovinam and Taekwondo by age 8.
Became a three-time Swedish Taekwondo champion by age 15 and placed third in the World Taekwondo Championships.
Stunts, Acting & Choreography
Developed an interest in acrobatics and gymnastics, inspired by Hong Kong martial arts films and early trick videos on Bilang.com.
Began his career in stunt performance in Sweden, then expanded to Asia—gaining experience in screen fighting and choreography.
First U.S. acting role in “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li” (2008), playing Harbour Master Yung alongside Kristin Kreuk.
Lead roles in:
“Una Vita Da Sogno” (2011) — played Marco Zanc and also served as fight choreographer/director.
“Kill Em All” (2011) — portrayed The Kid (an assassin) and coordinated action sequences, with co-stars Gordon Liu and Joe Lewis.
Collaborations & Notable Work
Fight coordination and choreography credits include Ong-Bak 2, Ninja 2, Street Fighter, Una Vita Da Sogno, Kill Em All, among others.
Worked behind the scenes on video games (motion capture) like Battlefield 3, Mad Max, Bloodforge, and Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst.
Continued acting and choreography across action-centric projects including Ninja: Shadow of a Tear, Boyka: Undisputed, Eliminators, Accident Man, Triple Threat, One Shot, Legacy of Lies, and Hidden Strike.
