Julia Nickson is a Singaporean-American actress born on September 11, 1958, in Singapore. She is best known for her role as Agent Co Phuong Bao in Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), which marked a significant milestone in her acting career.
Early Life and Education
Raised in a multicultural environment, Julia is the daughter of a British father and a Chinese mother. After her father’s passing when she was six, she lived in various locations, including England and Africa, before returning to Singapore. At 17, she moved to Hawaii to study at the University of Hawaii, initially intending to pursue hotel management. However, her interest shifted to drama after she auditioned for and secured a role in Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale. This experience led her to study acting and participate in community theater.
